Climate change and rising sea levels inspired my concept for modular floating homes. These structures are built on buoyant platforms that can adapt to shifting water levels, reducing the risk of flood damage.

The design emphasizes sustainability by using renewable materials like bamboo and recycled plastics. Solar panels and rainwater collection systems are integrated into the structures, allowing them to operate independently in off-grid environments.

While still in the conceptual stage, this project reflects the growing need for resilient architecture in coastal communities. It combines practical engineering with design aesthetics to offer not just survival, but comfort and dignity in the face of environmental challenges.

For this project, I developed an online catalog for a municipal library that previously relied on manual record-keeping. The portal was built with PHP and MySQL, featuring a user-friendly interface where patrons could search for books by title, author, or subject.

I designed the system to include user accounts, so readers could check borrowing history, reserve titles, and receive automated reminders. Librarians gained tools to track inventory, overdue returns, and popular titles.

Beyond the technical side, I focused on accessibility, ensuring that the website worked well on both desktop and mobile devices. This project was a step forward in bringing modern tools to a community eager to preserve knowledge and make it more accessible.

Inspired by the remote villages of northern Luzon, I painted a watercolor scene depicting a quiet mountain community surrounded by rice terraces. The artwork captures the soft blues of the distant mountains, the lush greens of the terraces, and the earthy tones of traditional wooden houses.

Watercolor as a medium allowed me to convey atmosphere and mood through gentle washes and layered textures. I used fine ink lines to highlight details like woven roofs and stone paths, adding structure to the otherwise fluid composition.

This piece reflects my fascination with rural life and cultural heritage. It serves as both an artistic exploration and a tribute to the resilience of communities that thrive in harmony with nature.

EcoBrand approached me with a clear mission: to create a visual identity that communicates their dedication to sustainable living and eco-friendly products. I designed a logo that combined simple, geometric shapes with a leaf motif, representing growth and harmony with nature.

The logo uses a calming green palette with clean typography, striking a balance between professionalism and environmental awareness. I also created a set of brand guidelines, including variations of the logo for digital, print, and packaging use.

This project was a rewarding experience, as it aligned with my personal values. The final design not only captured EcoBrand’s vision but also helped them stand out in a competitive market where authenticity matters.

Capturing sunsets has always been one of my favorite projects, and Manila Bay offers some of the most spectacular views in the world. Over the course of several months, I visited the bay at different times of the year, documenting how the shifting seasons and weather conditions affect the colors of the sky.

Some evenings brought fiery reds and oranges that reflected beautifully on the water, while others offered soft pastel hues that felt calm and meditative. Fishermen and boats often appeared in the foreground, adding depth and human connection to the scenes.

This collection reflects not only natural beauty but also my growth as a photographer, as I experimented with exposure settings, lenses, and post-processing techniques to achieve different moods.
